I waited two months for my Clearaudio Gamma and when I received it the cantilever was just flopping from side to side. It seems the suspension collapsed. And yes, I had it packed properly. I probably went a little overboard. I called SS up immediately and got Peter L. on the phone. He told me to send it back and he would put a priority on it. It was sent out and back within a week. He called me up and we also had a lengthy discussion about cartridge alignment. For the money spent, I'm happy with my experience with Soundsmith. But, I am not defending them. I am just relating my own experience.
