in your system before sending in the 'spares' for a retip. Then, try to forget, and one day be happily surprised when the retipped cart(s) show up in the mail. He seems to be inundated with work.
This is not to say I don't agree with you that better communication as to the status of repair would be a very, very good thing. Might be time to assign a worker ant to daily e-mail response.
BTW, I've never used his service, my opinions generated solely from cumulative posts here.
