Hoffman was/is mostly reissues. He has been doing a few new things, like the Red Hot Chili Peppers last one, but that's an exception, and a couple of other things, but those are mostly exceptions.

Didn't even know that Kong did the Dolls 2nd lp. But just checked my copy, and sure 'nuff there's the old G.K. in the runout grooves. No wonder it sounds so much better than the 1st. And no, it wasn't Shadow Morton. Figures, as he was the Mercury house guy back then. He also did some great things with Rod Stewart's prime stuff.
