I saw SRV open(!) for Robert Cray in Salem OR at the L.B. Day Amphitheater (great venue, btw) lo these many years ago. Can't recall the exact date, but was during the height of Robert Cray's popularity.

Needless to say, SRV could have turned his amps off and still blown RC off the stage. 'Twas fun for all present.
