I went back and forth between a 2M Red and a Denon DL-160 today and the 2M has more energy but is not crazy bright or anything like that. It has more presence than the Denon, too. So it hits through the mids, has better high end extensions, so it feels, and the Denon sounded softer and warmer in comparison. Damn.

But the Denon was kinder to used records.

I don`t care much about music.
