I was reluctant because of the stylus and 2+ tracking force but for $150, i gave the Denon a whirl. It's a very good cartridge, does everything above average with no apparent flaws which makes it easy on the ears(sorta like my Vandersteen speakers). Not a 'striking' cartridge when you first hear it, but your mind naturally starts too look for things that may be wrong with it, and doesn't find any. That is probably the most interesting thing about the 103. Not perfect but really no reason to NOT like it. I still give a slight edge to my 440mla, it has a punchy 'fun' side to it that works well with my favorite types of music. Maybe i'm just a moving magnet kind of guy. I really do like all my cartridges but would also love to hear that 20xl.
