There are a multitude of cartridges I'd love to try as well. One I'd love to re-own is the special edition 10x4 Gold with the gold-plated boron cantilever and the microline stylus. It was one of those jaw-dropping experiences; first when I played my reference record, and second, when I snapped off the cantilever before the second week was done. Much to my consternation I had purchased the last one available in the U.S. by Dynavector distributors. It wasn't an old friend like the Eroica LX, but a budding torrid romance cut short tragically :-) I, like yourself, might try a 10X5 (or 20xL because of HenryH's enthusiastic support) one day, and have always been curious about Benz cartridges. It's inevitable one day I'll finally get over my disdain of the conical stylus and get a 103 or 103R. There are simply too many staunch advocates of that cartridge for me not to try it, and the price of admission is not too high.
