My TD 165 is bare bones, bought in mid 70's, donated with used good condtion Shure M91ED and played sparingly, then essentially stored in controlled environment on a parsons table for about 20 odd years.

My brother lost his lease for the apt. and went back to our family's home, donating it back to me. I am playing it, sounds good--??? dunno why.

I think the TD 160 is a better table.

Both might work as mono tables.
