Interpol - Antics surface noise

Anyone have the Interpol LP 'Antics'? I have a UK copy and it has surface noise throughout. I've DD'd it on the RCM but that made very little difference. Record looks flawless. I have now ordered a US pressing to see if that is any different. Both US & UK copies are on Matador, whose pressings I find very irratic.
