It would not be my arm of choice for the TD-124. Actually, I do not think the arm itself is very important. That is, I pick the cart first and then a suitable arm. And the 3009/II or 3009R lets you use a much wider range of carts. You can use pretty much every MC cart in existence, including heavy Ortofon SPU if you add a heavier counterweight.
