Ortofon RS-212: Need to replace ICs

The original leads (tonearm to preamp) are old and stiff, and the RCA jacks seem kinda funky. I'd like to replace them, as I'm reviving the whole turntable (TD-124). Without going nut$, what would be some good options? I could probably get away with simply replacing the jacks, but more likely, I'd replace the whole deal, all the way back to the 7-pin connector that plugs into the Ortofon.
