MC: 0.5-1mV, with 100 ohm loading (fixed) and 220pF capacitance (not including cable capacitance)

MM: 3-5mV, with 47k ohm loading and 220pF capacitance.

I use my 640P with a Denon DL-160 at the MM setting. The Denon's nominal output of 1.6mV may be at the low end of the pre-amp's range but the result seem to be fine. I've also used the 640P's MC section with an Eroica LX, also with good results. I believe your BPS's output is higher than the DL-160, so the 39dB of gain provided by the 640P should be more than adequate.
