Turntable skating

Ok people help me out please . I have a Yamaha YP - B4 FULL
AUTOMATIC Turntable . The tone arm skates right across the record .
I have adjusted the weight adustment on back the of tone arm ,
but I don't want to play my records with that much weight .
The tone arm also seems to bounce alot also .
