I wouldn't have the guts for that job. I fear my skills would damage an expensive deal and feel really bad. I hate when that happens.

I went to find out how to solder, and found there is a lot of half wit, seat of the pants information passed around because the task can be accomplished somewhat easily in non critical situations.

Of course, this leave pretty much every modern electrical application out. So I read a book.

Is silver solder any different in practice? I ask because my teeny tiny little silver wires attached to my cart connections are too small to last forever with a ham handed guy like me trying to stick them onto little pins.

Another reason to buy MM carts, the body stays when the tip is replaced.
