Thanks for posting. I was wondering where the quantization of mass at the molecular level would creep into this conversation. As you point out this limit will be difficult to impossible to achieve, especially in a manufacturing environment. Perhaps we could lobby for a new larger groove standard that will allow for more dynamic range, or a more amorphous (ie smaller molecular features) master platter material. Of course, on my end, some playback equipment capable of reproducing existing levels of excellence would be nice.
