My Rondine B-12 has a round induction motor instead of square and runs very smooth. I do have a couple of motors that look just like the square one you have. If you can't get it to run quiet, measure the motor shaft diameter and send me an email with it. If its the same as one of my square motors, I'll send you one. Both of mine run smooth and quiet.

I use 5W-15 Mobil One synthetic oil in my motors and they seem to like it. I also use it as a platter bearing oil with good results.
