Interesting synopsis, but I completely disagree with the sonic effects listed. IME too high (arm slopes down to cartridge) results in overly taut bass and prominent highs, exaggerated surface noise and increased sibilance. Too low results in fat, slow bass, subjectively rolled-off highs and poor pace and rythm.
