Amazing what you can do without (dedicated) anti-skate, damping, cueing, or even a moving coil. And with a few odds and ends from Home Depot and Orchard Supply Hardware, a little epoxy and some dusty scraps of aluminum. From the first sound, of the first random LP grab (for signal confirm), to the couple of quick and dirty LP test tracks. To the later sit down, have a cocktail and actually listen to music. Was a winner (someone musta sprinkled me wit magic fairy dust, when I wasn't looking. Cos I don't remember buying any blue dots?).
