Just finished (yes, this is actually an occasional/integral part of my lunch/mental health break!) spinning what I think might be an original US copy (with "Kendun A" + a weird little "CP" with a circled 5 in the deadwax).

I have read before and re-read the famous on-line tale of "what went wrong" with this master tape.. or cutting perhaps... You can tell that I am technically challenged and it didn't register much with me...

Anyway, Fagen's vocals might be a little harsh... But the piano is a piano... the drums rock... the percussion details are nice and clean... the bass is a bass... Just kept nodding and tapping my toe all the while!...
