i do hope my (future) children will appreciate the records i will leave them. i do hope to instill in them a sense that music is important -- regardless of whatever music they choose to listen to.

don't have every blue note, but i'm very close to having every one that i've wanted (i.e., between 1500 & 4300). after 4300 they get pretty spotty for me -- some i love, others i have no desire for.

on non-BNs....'mercy, mercy, mercy' is a great albu -- produced by david axelrod (always a great thing). i love the way that nat -- it was nat, right? -- gives a little intro to what they've just played or are about to play. i think MMM was a "fake live" record, though.
