Hi,

I own a pair of these set up transformers made by Sowter shielded in a round mu métal case, so you don't need a box been a magnetic shield to install them. They have 5 wires easy to sold and a clear shematic helps you. Red and orange are the cartridge input, green and blue output and black wire is the shied . These transformers are especially made to match the high output MC cartridge DL 103 to 47 K preamp phono input. I had a little hum but it is not from the transformers, it came from wires inside the arm or from the cartridge itself. I have a SP 6 B from ARC but it will be soon replaced by a SP 10, so i will not use the transformers.
