The Goldmine book I have is pretty new (4th ed.), and it lists a Longines Symphonette issue on an orange label for $200 NM. Maybe that's the one the Beatle book was referring to. Although it has the '8' in the number. Who knows. That's what makes collecting the Beatles fun, all those label variations...

I saw an ad somewhere for a new Beatles price guide coming out, but it was something like 50 bucks. Geez. Should come with an old 45 or something for that much dough.

Do you have that "Beatles on Vee Jay" book? That's a pretty entertaining volume. Talk about obscure stuff. Good for identifying "Introducing the Beatles" and others.
