My Beatles price guide book shows a record club issue of Revolver on an orange target label (along with the green version). Must be what you're referring to. I didn't know it existed.

And, it also lists a red label version (not a target), the entire label is red. It has an example. Not a record club issue (doesn't have the "8" in the catalog number). That one is even rarer judging by the price in this book ($125 NM, and this book was printed in '90).
