1. It may be that the table hasn't been used much and the lube around the auto trip mech has dried up - but be careful, many trips relay on friction only and no lube. Using the table may just cure it. Try some more records.

2. Dual provided two rates of anti-skate, the oval side of is for elliptical styli, round for conical.
