That would be George Buck. His label is above the Palm Court Jazz Club and restaurant his wife runs on the lower end of Decatur Street in New Orleans, about a mile and half from my house. It's a true "moldy fig" paradise. I would hang out at the Palm Court just to have a chance to talk with the great Danny Barker (source of so much early/middle history of jazz and a wonderful story teller) before he passed.
