You didn't like one version of Simply Vinyl's the Eagles "Hell Freezes Over" why would another version sound any better with their their poor history?

"I just purchased the newer version with the gold outer Simply Vinyl label, and I am not really impressed with the sound. I hear alot of sibilance, noisy vinyl or background noise.. I find the xrcd playback of this more enjoyable..."

I am curious what Simply Vinyl LP did you find that was acceptable sonically? I never found one myself although I do love their super think outer sleeves.

It has to do with not wanting to waste my hard-earned money on a company that does not care where they get the source of their recordings. And yes Simply Vinyl, Castle and Get Back records are doing a disservice to Vinyl for just being in existence. And I feel very, very strongly about this!

Why not look for the original LP release? I almost never recommend the original LP but in the case of Simply Vinyl remastering I say get the original LP.
