Jack, that's the *second* torn-off cantilever story related to me in the past hour, in response to our cartoon. That's what I get for trying to share something funny!:-)
I had a maid do the same thing to my Arkiv cartridge on my LP-12 with a dust rag, though she (and her company) adamantly denied responsibility. Cotton can be just as bad as cashmere.
Sweaters, booze and cartridges: a really vile combination.
