The data contained in Fig. 2 on the Analog-Classics/SME page is correct (it was added relatively recently). The text further down mentioning 9.5/12.5 for the Improved models is incorrect (Holger Trass must have forgotten to update the text as he added the SME info sheets).

So:

SME 3009 Series II Improved (fixed headshell): 6.5g.
SME 3009 Series II S2 Improved (detachable headshell): 9.5g.
SME 3009 Series II (metal knife-edge): 12.5g.
SME 3009R: 12.7g.

Both the Improved versions + the "R" model has nylon knife-edge bearings as standard.
