it sticks around for a bit. You really should vacuum. The RRL beads so that it pulls drec from the grooves and hold that gunk at the top of the bubble where it quiveringly awaits air transport. If no vacuum the the stuff just is left to dry back onto the record. Ever see a glass of water that has dried out in a glass? That's the scenario.If you try to use a dry pad to pick up the gunk it will do it somewhat but push some of it back into the groove.
vacuuming is a must. A horible, dirty, boring job.
