Question for Mark on the Pabst motor with the fake cap for two phase....

I am experiencing some noticeable wow at times with the Pabst motor in my apartment complex. With the Pabst three phase wired to a cap does it end up exhibiting the same speed variations to changes in the AC as a shaded pole motor?
If not then I need to go over all my options regarding clean power to the phono motor.
I think it is time to build a transformer based 120V isolation power supply for my preamp, phono stage, and phonograph. Mark do you know of a good DIY kit out there for this project?
I need to do something while you are working on the Pabst sync clock. I am counting on you!
