I did try to go to California. I left Alabama, but I only made it to Souix City Iowa. They had a concert with the band that sang Yellow balloon, and they had a light show with a kaleidescope that projected on the wall. It was cool, but I couldn't dance. That was far enough west for me, so I went home. Besides, we had more going on in that little redneck college town that you would ever imagine...Sherry was only one of many. The Allman Brothers played there all the time, and major concerts were common. I saw Iron Butterfly's last concert there. I held some plump girl on my shoulders through the whole thing. It hurt, but she was a Libra, too. What was I to do?
