Was Kareem able to re-build his collection after the fire? The only reason I ask is that a jazz vinyl collection of that size and, presumably, scope, is almost archival, and a huge musical treasure. Would love to hear that he was able to put it all right. Allan, you're an S.C. guy, why don't you run up to his house some afternoon and see what's up. (-:
