A DL-103R is a poor match with an RB250

It's not just that the RB250 is the wrong weight - it's just not a good enough arm to show off the DL-103R at its best. Don't be fooled by the price of the 103 series - the R&D was amortized decades ago, but these were top of the line cartridges when they were first designed, and top of the line is how they will sound in a synergistic tonearm (which means a high-mass, high-quality model - vintage Ortofon, SME or modern FR or Ikeda).

Don't worry, you get all the so-called "hi-fi" tricks and huge frequency range. But you're not gonna hear it with an entry-level Rega. I tried that once too.
