Thanks for the suggestions. If I want to go the "clean first, lube after cleaning" route, would 91% Isopropyl alcohol in a syringe work? I figure if I invert the subchassis I could then inject it at force directly into the well, letting it drain. Would it be as good as lighter fluid or WD-40 at breaking down whatever's in there?
