The Stanton is probably fine but from past experience with them I would not expect anything special. Not that the Technics is spectacular but it has guaranteed build quality and reliability. Plus it keeps its value even after years of use. If kept in mint condition, you can sell it with little loss. Nobody wants a used Stanton.The straight arm DJ decks are for scratching only.
I have haven't heard the Denon yet but for the price it looks promising. I will be ordering one soon. It's under $250 with shipping.
