http://www.needledoctor.com/s.nl/it.A/id.2119/.f?sc=2&category=354I am looking to replace my turntable (recently destroyed by gf gerrard deck)...
Why not one of these?
http://www.needledoctor.com/s.nl/it.A/id.2119/.f?sc=2&category=354I don't like fiddling and the entry level tables look fussy and underachiving.... so why not go for a top of the class dj deck?
what are the shortcomings of these?
advantages?curved arm or straight?
i listen to just about every kind of music..
scratched up and pristine lps...love finding old telefunken and saba vinyl and that kind of thing.
like techno and alternative and bluegrass too...so? any ideas?
i was thinking about the stanton or technics deck and one of those t-amp phono-pre's.???

- Have you heard the Stanton table? nt - artemus 12:04:12 09/16/06 (3)
- Really don't need to. It has a non-offset straight arm. - HenryH 13:19:55 09/16/06 (2)
- The link he provided shows an s shaped arm. The one you are talking about is the STR8- 150 - artemus 14:28:15 09/16/06 (1)
- In any case, the Technics or Denon would be a far better choice. /nt\ - HenryH 15:09:23 09/16/06 (0)
