I am looking to replace my turntable (recently destroyed by gf gerrard deck)...

Why not one of these?

I don't like fiddling and the entry level tables look fussy and underachiving.... so why not go for a top of the class dj deck?

what are the shortcomings of these?
advantages?

curved arm or straight?

i listen to just about every kind of music..
scratched up and pristine lps...

love finding old telefunken and saba vinyl and that kind of thing.
like techno and alternative and bluegrass too...

so? any ideas?
i was thinking about the stanton or technics deck and one of those t-amp phono-pre's.

???
