I used to own a vibraplane, but never had a high mass table on it. My feeling is that the motor should be off the isolation table if you can do it. The table won't eliminate vibrations that originate on it's surface, and the motor is going to be a source of vibration. There are ways of detecting that vibration. Two that come to mind are A.) use a cheap mechanics stethoscope or B.)Use your stylus- place the motor on a surface that you can also rest your stylus on.
