Hi,

The Brinkmann Oasis is not as yet available to the public. I was fortunate to have and use one at the last Stereophile Show (held in New York). The drive mechanism of the Oasis will be a 'magnetic drive' similar albeit different from a 'direct drive' and will be available worldwide January 2007.
