Well I tried cheap ortofon on a rega p3, a dynavector on a vpi scout and I end up using the td-160. But this new phono stage is very revealing. It is a very new descrete design by carlosfm, difhifi.org, if you search for "duplex phono ",it will come up. jfet 2sk369, tranistor 2n1711. I sourced most parts from digikey, cost about $250. in parts, 24V [2x12v 7amp sla batteries in series].cheers
