I'd think a Belt replacement is going to be a definite do it/ no brainer, even if the old one is functional, they dry out/harden etc. I've never owned a Oracle Delphi, but every table I've owned or has experience with, 2 to 3 yrs is about it for any belt in use or not and not being used seems more problematic, you will pay an easily perceptible price sonically with slippage wow and flutter speed stability etc.T'were me, I'd clean out the Platter bearing well, and re-fill with Synthetic Motor oil, and I would certainly apply a drop of the same
Synthetic Motor oil to the bushings on that superb now unobtanium
Papst motor. And then let the table run (or just use it a lot)for a couple of days.
