I have a Thorens table with the heavy zinc alloy platter (at least I think that's what it is). The problem is that it looks like hell all the time. If I get any fingerprints on it, they are very obvious, and the whole thing takes on a dull look soon after I polish it. I thought maybe a nice clear coat would help it out. Any opinions on this?-Bry
