Awhile back some of us described alternate uses for the Steel Wheel. I described how the winch on my pickup could not pull the truck out of the deep ditch on the side of the road. My 1200 saved that injured trucker that day. Now he is also a believer.
Well this morning the woman who has been staying with me lately went into my garage where her car was. She pressed the automatic door opener button and the door started to rise. Suddenly the main spring broke and the big, heavy, double door fell closed.
Not a big deal except that her boss said if she was late again, she would be fired on the spot.
Well my Steel Wheel was happily spinning The Jeff Beck Group when I ripped out the cables and raced with it to the garage. It only took me a minute To Set It Up (tee-hee). Sure enough that mighty 1200 lifted the 600 pound door even faster than the door opener!
Now how can this kind of performance be a bad thing?
