Night and day. Dramatic difference. From that I would assume anyone could hear the difference. Is that true? Now the test. The next time you go to your friend's house, have him put one or the other power cords in, but not tell you. Better yet, get a third friend to do the swapping while you both are out of the room. Make sure you can't see the power cord being used (and not being used). If the differences are dramatic, with 100% accuracy you should be able to identify which power cord is in place rather quickly. I know people around here poo-poo blind tests, but if there is truly a dramatic difference, it should be easy to identify blind.Note that I am not saying that you didn't hear a big improvement. However, a dramatic improvement should be easy to identify blind, and doing so might really impress the skeptics if done carefully.
