The VPI HW19 can be found in numerous configurations from their original design due to the interchangability of the parts. As best I can tell the bases are all the same except for finish/color (oak, walnut etc) no matter what the tag says. I have a early model with the base marked HW19. When I purchased it from the original owner he had upgraded it with a MkIII platter and tall dust cover. I recently upgraded it with a MkIV platter, MkIV springs and super armboard. I'm sticking with the first generation power line conditioner for now and might purchase a used SAMA if I can find one reasonably priced. I'm sure you will be quite pleased with the upgrade from Jr to MkIII.
