I found the rewire kit to be professionally packaged and reasonably easy to install.However in my system the sound became noticeably brighter with slightly more bass depth.In my system the upgrade was probably not worth it-in fact I have gone back to the original arm.
At the end of the day you cant make a silk purse from a sows ear.The rega arm is entry level and I feel modders of this arm are better off saving for a better arm.YMMV.
