TD125 owners and others with strobed TTs - any of your strobes dead still?

I have a TD125 mkII in fine working conditions.

I've never paid too much attention to the strobe after setting it, but some recent posts made me take a closer look and I realized that even though the strobe marks don't progress or regress over time, they do oscillate back and forth about 1/8". I assume this has something to do with belt creep or belt irregularities.

I am not concerned about it since everything seems to sound fine, but I was wondering if anyone out there with a strobed TT (especially Thorens TD125s) is experiencing dead-still strobe marks. A sample point of 2 TTs seems to indicate that a direct drive is less susceptible to this problem.
