NOS=New old stock, which means, I was familiar with it but never listened to anything but the cuts played on teh radio. So far some NOS artists include Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac and Elton John. Its really a hoot. i didn't like a lot of that stuff when I was younger, but now my aged ears find it quite pleasing. sounds like your experience with Rush.
Glad you like Rush. Now if you want a more raw R&R presentation you must get their first album. It was before Neil Peart joined. its more straight ahead rock IMO. Not better or worse, just a little different. you may be familiar with the song off of it entitled "Working Man" keep 'em spinning.
BTW, "Im gonna get beat up for this". I won't tell them (in that other place) that you are a newfound Rush fan (-:
