The album was remastered in 1975 and repackaged as two-record set, Saxophone Colossus and More.
Not many record companies were doing digital mastering in 1975, I doubt that Fantasy Records were.
And that remaster is thin and bright sounding without much bass. I have a copy.
Not that it matters. The music more than makes up for it.
