Can't speak to the others, but Emus seems to be mostly material originally issued on the Roulette label, including people such as Count Basie, Sarah Vaughan, Dinah Washington, Joe Williams, maynard ferguson, etc. I've found a variation among pressings, some pretty close to the originals (Which often were very good.), others not so hot. The founder of Roulette, Morris Levy (Think I've got that right, at least the last name.) was alleged to have some, shall we say, questionable business associates and got into enough legal trouble to spend some time in jail. If I remember correctly-and I might not-Emus was a way to dodge the legal actions the government had taken against Levy and his business enterprises.
