It's been a few years since I've had this cartridge, but I do remember @1.5 grams both the tonearm and the bottom of the stylus assembly were parallel to the record while it was playing. The same was true of the 20, 30 styli. I can't recall what rake angle Ortofon specified (in degrees), but you might check that. That would be more important.
